Former Miss USA, who was arrested Saturday in suspicion of drunk driving, realized he was making a big mistake, according to a former Miss Michigan Channing Pierce from Royal Oak.
Fakih examines realized he was not to be driving and pulling over when police stopped him.
In 2010, Fakih examines is the first Arab-American Muslim woman to win the Miss USA Crown.
Pierce, who is also a former Miss Royal Oak, has known Fakih examines for four years. Both have models together in the auto Show and the fashion show, and when competing for the title of Miss Pierce USA last summer he sought advice on Fakih's.
"He got me with a coach interviews and give me a pointer of clothes," Pierce said.
